Discouragement in the face of grandiose works by our neighbors will only stifle our own true ability to create much more beautiful things.
T’is not our place to compare our dreams with theirs.
Our job lies solely in bringing forth the impossibilities of our thoughts, oblivious to whether or not the others have performed far better than us. It lies in stringing together the unreachable in a universe far beyond our true grasp.
Let us not write to overcome others, but to overcome ourselves. |
