Description: This is just thoughts and impressions that have been with me the last few days after a student died in an accident over the weekend.
Bradley will be missed by all whose life he touched.
Reflection of Grief -------------------------------------------
Silence
Uncomfortable
Errie in heaviness
Weighted in screams
Echos through the halls with
Grief
Overwhelming
Bitter with guilt
Chased by memories
Ladens every minute of
Life
Effervecent
Fragile in nature
Lived to the fullest
Snuffed in a blink by
Death
Ungracious
Fickle harvester of life
Feared by survivors
Brings eternity through
Faith
Everpresent
Balm to the spirit
Unshaken by tragedy
Gives peace to those left behind.
Nothing leaves one at such a loss for words or proper expression as the death of a friend or loved one. You have done marvelously well, with a caring sensitive poetic expression of loss that will be long appreciated by the bereaved.
This piece has a sort of uniqueness that is really brought out by the trailing words after each stanza. It keeps the reader wanting more, and it's hard to stop reading because you keep trailing off. I really liked that, and it made me want to keep reading. My only real complaint is that it made me want to keep reading and it was over too soon heh heh.
