CHAPTER 4: Yakan

Masahsi and Makoto walk into a huge, flourishing city.
Masashi: This is Yakan? It’s better than I expected!
Makoto: Everyone says that, this is like a second home to me. Here…I’ll show you around.
Masashi and Makoto walking past a fountain: That over there is where the leader of Yakan lives.
Masashi: Ah…
Masashi and Makoto walk past another fountain and two palm trees: And there is where Kiego Misuna defeated the three strongest Chi Lords in order to save this town.
Masashi: Wow. Why are there so many fountains and rivers here?
Makoto: It’s water supply, plus it’s decorative.
Masashi: Kinda tacky I think.
Woman glares.
Makoto, over Masashi’s shoulder, pointing at him: Special Ed!
Woman smiles and nods.
Makoto: The people here get kind of ticked if you insult this town or anything about it.
Masashi: Gotcha.
Makoto: And this….this…is…
Shows a large gate: This entrance to the Academy.
Masashi smirks.
Makoto: Excited.
Masashi: You bet.
Makoto and Masashi enter.
Shows a line of small huts and people walking around.
Masashi: Those huts aren’t where we’ll live right?
Makoto: Course not.
Makoto points: Those are.
Masashi looks at this line of apartments.
Masashi: Okay…
They walk forward.
Someone: Hey! Makoto! Your back!
Makoto waves: Hatake! Hey! Yeah! How’ve you been.
Hatake(walking forward): You know, how well can you be having your house at school. Who’s the newbie. Haven’t seen him before.
Hatake standing with them, Masashi anger symbol on his head.
Masashi: Masashi Oriya. I’m no newbie.
Makoto: He’s not to be underestimated, Hatake. He beat me, he hasn’t even had proper training.
Hatake: Well then Oriya-san. I look forward to fighting you.
Hatake: But for now we’ll have to put that on hold, I’ve got some errands to run for the Old man.
Makoto: Heh. That’s what you get for goofing off again.
Hatake: Guess so…but Mamocho and Apollo got off the hook.
Hatake, crying face: So unfair.
Makoto: Heh. Well I’ll see you later Hatake!
Hatake: Yeah, See ya!
Makoto: Now we have to check you into the Academy.
Masashi: Right.
(Shows the sky)
Masashi walks up to an old woman: Hello.
Old Woman: Hello.
Masashi: Name’s Masashi Oriya, I’m going here this year.
Old woman: Ah, yes…Oriya…heard about your father and uncle...I'm sorry
Masashi nods.
Old Woman: Since your with the Kissimmee boy I’ll put you in his class and building.
Masashi: Thank you ma’am.
Masashi turns his back.
Old Woman: One more thing.
Masashi: ?
Old Woman: That power of yours…
Masashi: !
Old Woman: It’s dangerous…be careful when using it, your still too young to master it fully.
Masashi nods.
(Shows the night sky)
All the lights in the apartment building are off except one.
Shows Masashi, Makoto, Hatake, and four other people sitting around in chairs, on a table and on the beds.
Makoto laughs.
Hatake: I swear that duck pushed me! Mamocho you believe me don’t you?
Mamocho: Whatever man.
Hatake pouts.
Girl, comforting Hatake: I believe you.
Guy: You believe everything Luna.
Luna: Do not! Kinche! Liar!
Kinche: Ha-ha!
Makoto: When is Hikoro supposed to be here?
Kinche: He said he was gonna get some training in tonight.
Guy: That Hikoro, always training…what for.
Kinche: Apollo…don’t start.
Apollo: Fine.
Mamocho takes out a cigarette.
(All One Box)Makoto: Hey!. Luna: Ah!. Apollo: Mamocho! Kinche: Why!
Mamocho: Hey! I always smoke on the first day! It's tradition!
Hatake: Since when!
Mamocho: Now, so shut up.
Mamocho searches through pockets.
Mamocho: Damn…no light.
Masashi: I’ll get you.
Masashi snaps his fingers.
Flame bursts out and covers Mamocho’s head.
Mamocho’s head is black and burnt. The cigarette withers away.
Kinche: Good thing you have no hair, other wise we might have a fire.
Mamocho, choking Kinche: WHY YOU!!!
Everyone laughs.
Masashi gets up.
Masashi: Be right back.
Makoto: Ok.
Masashi walks out the door.
Shows someone fighting nobody outside.
Masashi jumps down.
The person looks over at him.
Masashi: Hikoro eh?
Hikoro: Yes, what?
Masashi: According to them you’re the strongest of the students here. Makoto’s right below you.
Hikoro: That’s right.
Masashi: Fight Me.
Hikoro: What?
Masashi: I’ve already beaten Makoto. I’m going to beat you.
Hikoro stares.
Masashi: So…wanna fight?
