CHAPTER 6: First Day

Mamocho: What!?
Lorelei: That move. It’s one of the strongest Air attacks. If it hits Masashi…Masashi will most likely die.
Makoto’s arm start to glow green.
Luna grabs his arm: Don’t
Makoto: ?
Luna: It’ll crumble like a piece of paper.
Hatake: Looks like he’s about to make his move.
Hikoro holding the rasendou.
Hikoro thrusts his arm back.
Hikoro runs at Masashi.
Masashi: !
Masashi throws a fireball at Hikoro.
Hikoro holds his arm out.
The fireball dissipates about 5 feet before getting to the Rasendou.
Masashi: !
Masashi runs at Hikoro.
Hikoro thrusts his arm forward.
Masashi kicks at Hikoro.
Luna, Makoto, Hatake and Mamocho: !
Shows a man holding Hikoro’s wrist and Masashi’s ankle.
Kinche stares.
Luna: Solomon…
Solomon: That’s enough you two. And Hikoro.
Hikoro looks down.
Solomon: I’m disappointed. That move was for serious situations only. Not to be used for fighting with your classmates.
Masashi falls to the ground.
The Rasendou dissipates.
Solomon thought: But that one…
Shows Masashi panting.
Solomon focuses thought: Such power…no wonder they want him.
Solomon lets go of Hikoro’s wrist: Well you two. I’ll see you in four days.
Solomon disappears.
Masashi: Who was he?
Hikoro: Solomon Perry, our teacher.
Hikoro turns away: This isn’t over.
Masashi: Heh. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
(shows the morning sky: Four Days Later)
Shows people walking into buildings.
Shows Makoto, Kinche, Luna, Mamocho and Hatake walking.
Masashi joins them.
Luna: Your back! Makoto said you were training all week, on a new move or something
Masashi: Yeah.
Mamocho wraps his arm around Masashi’s neck: How about teaching me that super awesome new move of yours? *heart*
Masashi: Get off baldy *smiles*
Mamocho chokes: Why you!!
Mamocho pushes Masashi.
Masashi: Ha-ha. So your all second years?
Luna: Yeah. This is our last year, and since you proved yourself to Solomon and to Makoto you’re a second year as well.
Hatake: Yeah and this year we get put into teams and hunt various Chi Lords.
Luna: Hatake!(to Masashi: That’s not true, only the advanced people get to do that)
Kinche: Oh, and I heard there are two other newbies, also second year, it’s said that they actually beat Solomon in a fight.
Luna: No way!
Someone: That’s right…the Aronge Brothers.
Luna: Hikoro!
Hikoro jumps down from a tree: Yo!
Kinche: Aronge…Mercury’s Brothers?
Hikoro: Yeah. Apparently they’re the best the Academy has ever seen.
Makoto: Better than Trige!
Hikoro nods.
Makoto: Wow.

They all walk into a room filled with people.
Solomon: Okay. Take a seat.
Masashi: Wow, I never imagined there were going to be this many people in our class. Who are all these guys?
Luna(looking smart): Well let’s see here.
Shows Trige: That’s Trige. Top Student in the class. Strongest by far. Hikoro is no match for him.
Shows Agatha: Agatha Thian. A friend of mine. From a family of necromancers.
Shows Cho: Transferred here at the end of last year. Must be good to pass the year in a week or two.
Shows Jara, Yaman, and Mercury: The Aronge brothers. I don’t know much about the new two, but Mercury is fairly shy and only really talks to people he knows.
Shows Makon and Shino: The Onal Twins. We run in different crowds so I don’t really have anything on them.
Shows Gato, Riese, and Nakata: The Ochikana’s. Or The Three Stooges. Been here for 4 years. They say they haven’t passed because they haven’t shown their true potential. I just think they’re not good enough.
Shows Masashi and Luna(Masashi: Wow…you gossip too much) Luna surprised and caught off guard face
Luna: I-I-I do not!
Solomon: We’re beginning now! So if everyone would kindly shut up and pay attention.
Shows Hatake: And I say that double for you. (Hatake thought: I knew it! He hates me!)
Solomon: Since this is everyone’s second year we will no longer be reading from textbooks, but instead taking more action in your training.
Shows all the students: (Riese: Whoa! No way!)(Apollo: Cool!)(Hikoro: finally!)(Makon: This is so cool!)(Mercury: Y-y-yeah…)
Solomon: First I will need to take account. One by one, row by row, starting from the first row, State your name and the type of Chi you use, then go outside.
Makon stands up: Makon Onal. Water.
Shino stands up: Shino Onal. Wind.
Cho stands up: Cho. Dark and Light Chi.
Solomon writing: Darkness and Spirit very well. Next!
Trige stands up: Trige. Wind. Lightning. Darkness. Fire.
Masashi thought: Whoa!
(Next row)Jara stands up: Jara Aronge. Fire. Water. Lightning. Wind. Earth. Darkness. Spirt.
Solomon writes the word All on paper.
Yaman stands up: Yaman Aronge. Same as Jara.
Mercury stands up: M-m-Mercury Ar-Aronge….Fire…
Makoto stands up: Makoto Kissimmee. Earth.
Masashi stands up: Masashi Oriya. Fire.
Luna stands up: Luna Kusuke. Engel.
Kinche stands up: Kinche Izzymoto. None.
Jara and Yaman laugh.
Gato laughs.
Kinche looks sad and sits back down.
Luna: It’s okay. You’ll figure it out soon(Mamocho: Mamocho Zainche…)
Kinche: How do you know.
Luna: I’m trying to be reassuring here. If your gonna cut me down on it I’ll just stop.
Kinche smiles a little: Sorry.
(Shows the sky)
Shows the classmates talking.
Solomon clears his throat and everyone looks.
Solomon: As ordered by The Headmaster herself, we are to hold exhibition matches to determine how to train you. As for the groups. You’ll be fighting your own team members, in one on one elimination fights. Here are the permanent teams, no changes will be made.
Solomon: Team 1. Trige. Jara. Yaman. Cho.
Jara and Yaman nod.
Solomon: Team 2. Hatake. Apollo. Mamocho. Lorelei. Agatha.
Hatake, looking at Mamocho, smirks and nods.
Solomon: Team 3. Gato. Nakata. Riese.
Solomon: Team 4. Makon. Shino. Mercury.
Solomon: Team 5. Makoto. Luna. Kinche. Hikoro and Masashi.
Masashi and Hikoro: !
Solomon: Now for he exhibitions. We will be going upwards through the teams. Meaning Team 5 will go first, Team 1 will go last.
Hatake thought: Man! I’m one of the last to fight!
Solomon: The first fight is…Masashi Oriya vs. Hikoro Shikoma.
Hikoro and Masashi smirk(thought): Perfect.
