Life is Leaving ME

Why doesnt life love me like I love life?
Is it because I've set such high expectations?
Is life telling to stop thinking that I'm going to be here long enough to be a wife?
Why does life through me in to such vicious situations?

I have yet to tell life to piss off
I have given my life everything I could
Yet life is telling me its running off
Its telling me I havent been doing what I should

I dont understand what I havent done to keep my life
And yet my life has made up its mind to creep away from me
Because of all this, I was left with complete strife
There must have been a message I was unable to see

Diagnosed with HPV
And now it has advance
And it could take everything from me
I am now having to deal with a life vs death dance

Ovarian Cancer and painful sores
Maybe its payback for all the horrible things I've done
I guess this is life evening the scores
Maybe life thinks I ignored it and just soaked in the sun

What am I suppose to do?
Close friends and family say "We're here to help"
Well, I'd sure like to know what the hell you can do
Instead of this, I truely wish I was a peice of sea kelp

What can you do?
Pray to your God
To help me get through?
But doesnt praying for an athist seem odd?
