Awwww, that's so sweet. Ok, since I say this to everyone, I have to say it to you, you should try to do free verse. If you don't know what it is, it is just poetry without a rhyme scheme. You have a good idea here, but the rhyming makes it seem strained. You could try again, or leave it and ignore me, it's up to you.
