The path we walked that summer's eve brings back memories of your trembling hand touching mine of the stars that later shined I wonder now where you are far away from my bossoming heart singing songs wooing maidens of fair eyes and pale hands who cry out from their hearts the love i never proffessed for i was afraid of breaking falling loving hurting I was afraid dear heart my only love and now you are gone On Valentine's I cry my sorrows drink my delights and wonder Where are you, dear heart? Am drawn to bitterness burning myself like the foolish moth in the firey flame I should have said those special words instead of hiding and whining and finally being alone.
