Dear Lord,
It's raining today, but it was still beautiful to see the clouds crying joyful tears with their comforting color of gray. I thank You for bringing that to me because it made me smile.
I also would like to thank You again for bringing food to the table so that my family and I may feast together once more. Except my grammy wasn't there. She went to the hospital today. My mommy said it was because her temperature rose to 105 degrees. She said that's very high for a fever, but my daddy said that my grammy will be okay because she has a very strong spirit.
Please, Father, she can't be strong without You, You know that. I wish for You to be with her and relieve her of her pains. She doesn't deserve to be hurting like this, Lord. I pray with all my heart for her safe trip back home.
Also, I want to thank You for testing me today. Honestly, Lord, for a super duper short second, I was afraid that You might have abandoned me. But I realize that You're so very gracious, and you would never do such a thing. Please forgive me of my sin for doubting you. I know You will help my grammy get better.
Thank you, Father, for reminding me that I am still a sinner, and I hope that You will help me, my family, and my friends to be more like You. Please watch over us all.
I pray all of this in Your Son's holy name,
