dotsHow Do You Kill A Mockingbird?dots
    -------------------------------------------

"A bird standing in plain sight"

    It's there, the constant mockery,
    Looming always in eyes' view,
    Torturing, yearning for the past,
    Teeth grinding until lasting pain,
Fists clenched so hard nails bleed,
While time passes in anger's maelstrom,
Stitches popping from a broken heart,
    When nothing has even happened,

"But that mocking bird still sings"

Crazy is the feeling I had before,
So the question is what am I now?
    Truly mad by all definitions,
    Losing hair in future's sight,
But still it mocks as if it's comedy,
Starting my very first next round,
But what am I to do?
Fight what is only a thought?
    Impossible is such a feat,
So the battle is in the mind,
Even though I target the wrong one,
That's just like me isn't it?
    Stupid is as stupid does,
But I ask what can I possibly do?
