    -------------------------------------------

    The moon is gone.
    Hidden with darkness,
    Deep in the sky.
    I peer into the shadows.
    Headlights fill the street,
    A motorcycle speeds by.
    All again returns to night.
    No more light,
    To sting my eyes.
    Sounds of silence.
    What beautiful things?
A child in the distance cries.
    This too is soon quieted.
    I lay down,
    Shut off my weary mind.
    My eyes are closed,
    As is my mind,
I drift off to a magical ride.

Hmmm. Its ok. Like you made it because you had nothing else to do. It also had me rush through it because it diddnt catch me as anything interesting.

I like this, it makes me think of the neccessity of darkness. Not the depressing darkness that most people seem to be interested in here, but the darkness of quiet, restful thought
