Description: Just a little reminding to my darling that i still love him and still think of him never mind he is sooooo far away from me.
To My Angel -------------------------------------------
The image of your love remains intact
Nothing has tainted your portrait;
I still hang the picture of our love
At the main entrance of my life.
Though you are many miles away,
Your presence lingers in my thoughts
Reminding me of all we had shared
And what is still ahead of our journey.
I see a light shimmering around
As I close my eyes to meet you
Where reality cannot catch us
And distance has no length.
I meet you in our dream world.
The empty space I saw before
Filled with memories of our passion
As you appeared in front of my sight
Recapturing where we last left off.
I can never erase the reflection
We have created in our lives
For it has more value as time sheds;
I see more reasoning to keep fighting.
You appeared to me from out of nowhere
And I have been lucky enough to see.
What makes you think I will give up
The journey we still have ahead of us?
I have been in a position were I have fallen really hard for someone who can never return those feelings and every thing having to do with love that I see hurts, and now this... :) Anyways It has bee a while, I liked it I could really tell you missed this person and i hope they know how lucky they are to have such a passionate person, I only have one thing to say on the not so positive side and really it is a stupid nit pick so you can ignore this next part but...
I still hang the picture of our love
At the main entrance of my life.
The whole thing kind of reads like a beautiful fairytale and then we get to the "At the main entrance of my life" and it sounds more like a sleezy fast food joint in the middle of nowhere ;) anyways just ignore that if you want
as always such a pleasure to read your work
You made me think of my own family; my best friend and I used to be married, and we were saying things to each other, not long ago, like your poem here, except not so clearly!
Special meetings are so hugely valuable ... this poem says, we should treat them so and not be careless about friendship and loyalty; I think that is a good and much-needed message to the world, even though you are probably just expressing your private feelings!
