What are you going to do
when no one wants to love you
You sit alone in your room
And wonder what went wrong
What did you do to deserve this torture
You think and think
But nothing comes to mind
What are you to do
You then begin to think
Of all the lies you've heard
The more you think
The more depressed you become
Then you think about it
The thing that has taken away your pain before
Should you do it
Or should you not
No one would know the difference
It feels like its calling out to you
Promising to take away the pain
You then begin to believe
So as you sit on your bed
With a tear stained face
Slowly sliding the razor blade
Down across your wrist
You feel somewhat better
But not all the way
So you keep doing it
Till you feel numb to everything and everyone
So, what do you do now?
im well i use to be a cutter to, idk if this pice was about u doing it. but anyway i loved it. i spoked to me in such a way that most poems do not. you have a way with words and the way you worte this one was very nice. i think it was very nice. keep up the good work
It's so tragic that so many people feel this way. The world is a such a cruel place at times. Though you have to try and look on the brighter side. Your piece perfectly portrays how sometimes it can be hard to see that brighter side. Everything, everyone, hates you. You feel so alone, lost, confused. Writing about it helps, doesn't it? Almost the same form of release as cutting yourself.
I enjoyed the lack of rhyme in this piece. I feel rhyme would have only seemed forced. It had a great flow, good wording, and came together to be a great piece of writing.
