Description: This was an attempt to write a poem about the similarity between the physical aspect of the heart, pumping blood and the emotional aspect of the hear, love. I don't know how affective it is because i kinda got obsessed with the qualities of blood and lost focus on the love aspect.
Heart -------------------------------------------
Pumping onward
beating with a strength
Rushing outward
depleting while giving
as it roams
desperate for return
to the place
from where it flowed
This is an interesting style of writing you have chosen.
I don't think you lost as much focus as you think either. I really see the piece as a statement of the similarities between blood and love. You did a good job with it.
