    Sitting here thinking
about the way life use to be.
    Oh those days of laughter
have come and gone for good
    What am I to say
    but sit here and ignore
    ignore the yelling
    screaming
    fighting
    disappointment
    what can I do
other than sit here and wait
till someone comes to put light
    back in this dark place
    I don't know when
    I don't know why
but I hope it happens soon
I don't know how much longer
    I can survive

Ah, I truly like this. It reminds me of a few years ago when it seemed like no one was ever fighting, and things were just peaceful. But that never lasts forever does it? I like how simple and short this is, and how nicely it seems to flow. Don't change anything about it! It's going on my favorites.
