    -------------------------------------------

At night I feel my grandfather
    In a missing beat,
I see him in a chair
    No longer there,
    In a shitty comment
    And a shittier grin.
    Weezing on a oxygen tank
    Swimming in half a lung,
I see him in an abscences of
    My grandmother's eyes.
I see him in the man I am
    And the man he raised.
    I miss the man
    Who was always there;
    Wise, but unknowing
    To his fate.
    I went to bed late,
    Woke to a whisper
    That was his Life.

Wow...very emotional and you can really feel how attatched you were to him. It honestly brought a tear to my eye.

Structually, I would have liked to have seen it in two or three stanzas.

    Great job,

"woke to a whisper / that was his life"

    that is beautiful...

you capture different sides of him in this...and from different perspectives...how others viewed him...

    nice tribute to him...

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
