    Description:
my best friends birthday is tomorrow and it inspired me.

Adrie, this is your's and no-one elses. That is why you get the title. You are my best friend ever, I love you, and happy birthday.

    -------------------------------------------

    Once again I find myself
    sitting here with you
on my mind and in my heart,
    wishing you were near.

Once again I need a friend,
    one who I can trust
    with anything in the world,
    and that is you.

Once again I dream of love,
any kind as long as it's real
and I remember I have that
    in you, my best friend.

    Once again I regret
that I have caused you pain
and never did I intend it,
but that is how it was.

    Once again I can't believe
that you are older than me,
but it's true for a while,
and I wish you a happy birthday.

Oh, and I've never commented! I should kick myself in the ass for that!

Still, I loved the flow of it, and the absolute emotion and truth reflected in the poem itself. It sets my heart on fire!
