Chapter 12: Hikoro and Rakura

Nato: What the hell are you talking about?
Makoto: Not once…since that day…have I taken this tape off…
Nato: …
Makoto: Not once…did I ever think I would need to…but…
Makoto: It seems like my only option now…
Nato: What are you talking about…
Makoto: Sako the Hermit…came in contact with me when I was younger…and embedded in my two arms…one half of the sacred jewel, Cray, in each arm…such power inside that jewel. That I have to keep my arms heavily taped, and gloved, to protect everyone close to me from getting hurt.
Nato: Heh…well bring it on…

Makoto: Your going to wish you didn’t say that.
Nato: Heh…am I?
Makoto: I just said you were…what are you deaf?
Nato: What did you say!?
Makoto: I’ll take that as a yes.
Nato: Enough child’s play! Let’s finish this!
Makoto: As you wish.
Makoto takes a step.
The earth shakes.
Makoto takes another step.
The earth shakes more and starts shooting up in spikes in random directions.
Nato: !!!
Makoto runs at Nato and a huge wall of Earth follows.
Nato swipes his arm.
An earth spike shoots at the wall of earth and cracks and breaks before it gets close.
Nato thought: Such power!
Makoto slashes his arm out: AH!!!!!
Shows blood flying.
Shows Nato, covered in blood and slashed and stabbed, stuck to an Earth wall.
Makoto sighs.
Makoto: I told him.
Makoto grabs the tape.
Makoto starts putting the tape back on.
(Shows the sky)

Hikoro panting.
Rakura panting.
Rakura: Not bad for a kid.
Hikoro: You haven’t seen anything yet.
Rakura: I hope not…well I’m sure everyone else is finished by now…so let’s wrap things up as well.
Hikoro: Fine…
Spiritual energy forms around Rakura’s hands and then forms into a sword.
Rakura holds the sword in front of him.
Hikoro: …
Rakura runs at Hikoro.
Rakura slashes the sword down.
Hikoro jumps back and dodges the sword by about a foot.
Hikoro is cut across the chest.
Hikoro: What!
Hikoro skids.
Hikoro thought: I dodged it! What’s going on?
Rakura: Heh. This sword is so spiritually tough that…it cuts anything that gets too close to it.
Hikoro thought: Damn! As if I didn’t have enough of a disadvantage…I can’t nullify any of his attacks and now I can’t get close to him!
Shows Rakura holding the sword thought: That just leaves one thing….
Shows Hikoro’s hand: Rasendou…
Hikoro looks focused thought: Right!
Hikoro grabs his shoulder and thrusts his left hand back.
Wind circulates his hand rapidly.
Rasendou forms.
Shows Hikoro holding Rasendou.
Rakura thought: Interesting….a child like him…mastering a move of that level. He’s quite something.
Hikoro: Let’s finish this!
Rakura thought: ….And brave as well.
Rakura: As you wish.
Rakura runs at Hikoro.
Hikoro thought: This may be it….
Hikoro runs at Rakura.
Hikoro thrusts his arm out.
Rakura swings the sword.
Hikoro starts to get cut.
Hikoro: Ahhh….dammit!!!!
Hikoro closes his eyes.
Hikoro thought: Suna….
Shows Rakura swinging the sword down thought: Chi…..
Hikoro opens his eyes (they are empty like Masashi’s)
Hikoro disappears.
Hikoro appears behind Rakura and the Rasendou hits Rakura’s back and causes a huge explosion thought: RYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hikoro leans up against a tree.
Hikoro sighs.
Hikoro: I wonder how everyone else is doing…
Shows rustling in the bushes next to Hikoro.
Hikoro: Heh….that was fast.
Shows Makoto holding his bleeding shoulder: Yo!
Hikoro: You look pretty beat up.
Makoto: So do you, he give you much trouble?
Hikoro: Yeah…I had to resort to using it.
Makoto: Don’t feel so bad…I had to take the tape off.
Hikoro: Damn, must’ve been pretty good to push you that far.
Hikoro: How’s everyone else doing?
Makoto: I didn’t check.
Hikoro: Why not?
Makoto: I was in a fight.
Hikoro: So you couldn’t of taken the time to check?
Makoto: No!
Hikoro: Well you should of.
Makoto: Sorry…I was too busy being pelted with sharp objects and bleeding.
Hikoro: Excuses…excuses.
Makoto (angry symbol) raises his fist.
Hikoro and Makoto: !
Hikoro: You hear that?
Makoto: Yeah let’s go!
Hikoro and Makoto run off.
