low-fat break fast -------------------------------------------
i feel stepped on with the heel
open like a nail wound
almost sepia
in the grass
among trees and cows
that ruminate brains happily
with soil besmeared teeth
wrapped in other scraps
of human rase and other rases
cows are gentle creatures
i am sliced here
like a loaf of low-fat brown bread
for breakfast
it may be your breakfast
or you may choose the grey-scale girl
fighting with the staircase right down
where my feet have never touched
earth
she’s bright she’s pale she’s
gorgeous
and repeatable
and i almost fall to see her
behind your window in the morning
you seem so tender with your cup of tea
that you almost forget
to drag her
me
well i must say it’s been calories
since i’ve looked for your kind
and i feel stepped on like a
little old red paint peel
from a shattered wall
wishing i were green
like a cow’s teeth after eating a
dozen of beautiful boys
like you my friend
and yes i must say i’m hungry
but you see my stomach has gone wild
since nobody got to fill it
with anything of your kind
and
are you aware
of my beautiful sprained smile
bind in plaster stone
Bravo! This piece was very unique and had layeras like an onion or a cake. There are some pieces that almost demand to be read out loud - like an open mic night - and this is one of these pieces. Brillaint on social, religious and many other levels.
A fav!
