When the autumn leaves are swept off their feet,
the winter comes and brings with it deceit.
Oh spring please bring me those decadent flowers,
before summer comes and crumbles my towers.
Until the cycle ends again,
autumn becomes my familiar friend.
The falling leaves comfort my soul,
to protect winters snow from tearing a hole.
My sweet orange dream is here much too short,
leaving my heart alone to contort.
Wrap your petals around me before it gets worse,
I believe that im better but the heat brings the curse.
When will my day be here again,
when I laugh about the good times with my old favorite friend?.....Autumn |
