    Description:
This is a poem that I wrote for our Senior Parent Appreciation night. It is obviously targeted to thanking our parents.

    Those who guide you
Through the good and the bad.
    Those who help you
When you fall to the ground.
    Those who support you
    Along the way.
    Those who push you
    To achieve great things.
    Those who cry with you
    When something sad happens.
    Those who laugh with you
When no one else gets it.
Those who never give up on you
    Even when you do.
    Those who listen to you
    When no one else will.
Those who lend an ear to you
When you want to complain about anything.
    Those who have given you
Nicknames that will stick with you forever.
    Those who study with you
Even if they donít know what the words mean.
    Those who drive you
    From place to place.
    Those who give you
Money to shop for another dance dress.
    Those who bandaged you
    When you skinned your knee.
    Those who pushed you
    On the park swings.
    Those who took you
To the zoo on a sunny day.
    Those who watched you
Grow from a little girl to a college-bound senior.
    Those who you
    Thank whole-heartedly.
    Those who you
    Call PARENTS

I like this one, I have always had a bad relationship with my father but I know, deep inside he loves me and will do anything for me. However I dont like those parents who bear kids without thinking if they can provide for it or not. I wrote one called "The right to have kids". Thats all about people who bear kids and make lives miserable for those inocent children who lead lives like those of ants and insects.

This is wonderful! Parents around the world will shed a tear of appreciation after reading this! So often their care and efforts are taken for granted! Thank you lovely lady for this lovely tribute to them!
