The following is something apart of a bunch of stories that I am working on at the moment...
This is the intro..somewhat..But I don't know if I am getting my point across properly...The next thing I will be posting later is 'The Rules of the Vessel' (after mass editing.)
The other story I posted 'In the Darkness' is the prelude stories, from the beginning of Yue's birth to the meeting of Aidan, and their developing longing for the human perspective. Though these stories will include some 'dragon experiances' that they will somewhat compare with their 'human' experiances. (Because I always find myself reffering to things I hav not writen about yet in 'Self Condemnation'... lol

Aidan and I are two seemingly immortal dragons, longing for the human experience. We have existed for millennia watching this so called human race, create, learn, discard and long for the past once more, but also, aiming for the future at the same time. The emotions that these creatures portray are not known to us. We are creatures of logic, of the now. Not the then. The past means nothing to us, except maybe to hold recognition of a predator, spell or the best feeding grounds. We want to know what makes these humans protect their young that killed their own race, and destroy the lands that are needed for them to survive, or why they carry small green rectangular paper with such value. But most of all, we want to learn of what the humans call ‘emotions’ that seems to make humans human. From what we have seen so far, these emotions bring them the power to betray and kill, to become angry for some unknown reason, and the most complicated to understand, the emotion that they call ‘love’.

This is really interesting. The dragons were a nice touch. I think it was a little weird, but thats ok, I like weird, so it was perfect for me.

I woul like to read the next part, it's seems like a nice start.

Hm... I don't know how much you know about psychology but the thought of turning into, or being a dragon is a really disturbing one. If you do this for a series of stories it's cool but don't dwell in that world too much...

Yay! Thank you very much. I wasn't sure if it would capture the attention of the reader. You comment makes me all tingly on the inside to think that you would read it even if it had dragons in it :D :D :D... Thank you very much :)

I thought I would write the life of the dragon before they started to yearn that perspective first. Which I just posted: In the Darkness.
The reason for this is, I find myself typing about what happened in their past lives during the events that occure to them through their experiences with humans. Like comparing a human experience with a experience they had as a "dragon infant" which is called a 'Xinyon' to them. So it's a must do right now.
Basicly it's a series of storys, during different time periods. But somehow the storys will all be related to eachother, in some form. (I havn't completly figured it out yet, but it is there in my brain...)

I will be sure to post updates as I go :)

As an intro, this is effective. I like teh sort of topic sentence right off; tells you what the whole thing will be about. And then you go on the portray human through this very unique perspective; form that of dragons longing to learn about them. I def want to read more of this; even if it is about dragons (not too big a fan of dragons, sorry! xp )
