    -------------------------------------------

    I am a god, bow before me.
    The world is mine to rule and judge.
    I am a god, bow before me.
    Kira righteously stands on high.
    Grovel and shrink away, mortal fools--
    all you criminals and thieves and cheats;
    Welcome to the New World, perfected place--
    What evil has sown, it now reluctantly reaps.

    Those who stand against will fall, one by one--
    or en masse, like the graves of wars gone by;
    I'm a raging genocidal god--cower in fear and die,
    Give in, lie back and close your liar's eyes.

    Antithesis of a god, a force rises up against me--
    I hear his name, in the breath of a single Letter.
    I want him dead or better yet, at my feet and wrong;
    let all the world see testament of his punishment.
    And yet, I see, we are perfectly matched--
    he is not a god, but something more than human,
    his mirror-eyes are ghosts in glass windows;
    I am fascinated by the pale complexity of soul.

    They hold him in such high regards, that silver fool--
    I've got his number, I know his time.
    He cannot hide from my eyes--a god's eyes;
    his name is mine, I hold it in my mind.

    I have power over him, the power of life--and death;
    he's in my sights now and the dance is coming to a close;
    I tire of this little game we've been playing, honestly--
    It was obvious that I'd win in the end.
    Perfect timing--the perfect tumble off his precious throne;
    I love the way his hair falls perfectly over his mirror-eyes,
    and the way his skin goes paler in death than it was in life...
    My most perfect foil, my most perfect victim.

    As Nerby Thoughts said, the megalomania is wonderful. I applaud you.

      Eeeep!

    Chip, my darling... I think you have captured the megalomaniac in Light...not so much the person he originally was, but rather the monster he became.

    Gorgeous. He sounds insane but I still love him. I love you.

    What's next?
