A poem is as good as the worst line
A poet is as good as his best poem
And I've grown rather desperate over time
But I've never reached for my machine gun
Instead I've been researching nuclear power
So when I cannot take it anymore
I'll blast everything to hell in my final hour
No, actually, I've already got the uranium etc. I just tend to prcrastinate (JOKING---about the bomb, not the procrastinating--I don't wan't to be dragged off by Homeland Security in the middle of the night or anything).
They say that suitcase-sized devices that would be equivalent to what was dropped on Hiroshima have already been developed.
Anyway, it is a clever little piece. I like the first line, confused by the second though--why wouldn't it be that he is as good as his worst poem?
