    Different

    Living in a crowded world
    With busy lives that revolve
    Around these noise boxes
    Grinding against my inner ear.
Legs that know where the destination
    Of where the mind lives
I am carried off into a faraway world.

    Everything moves slowly
    As I separate myself
    From the people around me.
    I just sit there
    Watching the world go by
People move along with their lives
Not noticing that Iíve been carried away
    To a place faraway

I hear the bell ring loud
My hands pull my earphones out
A sudden jolt of reality pulls at me
As I become one among the many in the halls
    I am no longer alone
    But never felt lonelier.

      This write I really enjoyed!!
To me you are speaking of a Persons first day in High School and how looking back at it they can easily reflect of the situation and all the lessons learned in High School
I for one believe yhe lessons I learned in High School that were not taught to me by a teacher easilly outweigh the life lessons taught to me by those teaches
    Great Work!!!
Thank You very much for the quick trip down memory lane!!!

Please if you get a chance Please take a look at some of my writes and let me know what you think
    Thank You
    God Bless

This sounds rather surreal to me. It seems as though you were captivated and frozen by something.... it feels as if you had had an epiphany. Maybe you were daydreaming.... it's quite scintillating and I do relate to the feeling you know.... we do get, at times, paralyzed or mesmerized with or without an apparent reason .... I do know why but it does happen.... maybe its frequency is somehow determined by one's experiences or the kind of people we happen to be.... dunno ... I'm not really well versed in the subject.

    Nicely done!

    Take care,

    Ethan

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
