I walked this world alone.
Confused and lost.
Everywhere I turned the exits were blocked off.
Every person weared a mask that smiled an eerie smile.
The rain would hit the black pavement and dissapear making the world dry.
Creatures of the unkown rode their bikes past me and stared at me.
My legs became like jell-o.
My heart became faint.
Maybe I thought I could run far into the night where the gangs crept and killed, I could get away.
So I rann, I ran past the clocktower that chimed my life's moments away.
Black figures stood on side of the unwinding path pointing and screaming a horrible noise....and then suddenly I fell.
Arms were there to catch me and I looked up suddenly wondering if it was god who took me in his haven.
I looked up expecting the light.
There wasnt.....
Beautiful dark eyes stared at me
they were dark like the midnight sky
but sadness and all the pain in the world
filled them.
this creature pulled me up, as I got closer the creature was a boy my age,15,
he smiled and asked if I was okay...
WOW! i thought heavens missing an angel!
I hugged him and said thank you! thank you! you've found me! nobody in this world
has ever looked for me in the world.....
he laughed and hugged me back....
he picked me up and set me on a small bench that the creatures were sitting on when i fell.
He told me about his life, this boy was a gang memember, he told me how he got jumped in and got shot at and his homie died in his arms and how he killed the man who killed his friend the next day, how he moved here [Colorado] and his parents rejected him and were going to send him away until they changed their minds.......
it was an increadible story, one ive never heard before.
i looked at him,tears both streamed down our faces and then he took me in his
arms and we kissed. then sudenly the world got twisted upside down...........
