Two Fronts by forfila

So how is humanity going to save itself?
The fact is we are fighting a war against ourselves on two fronts.
The first front is our economy. Due to the fact it is spare headed by the oil market we are in a situation where we cant just eradicate our use of oil with out causing major troubles in our global society. So as one people, the inhabitants of earth, we need to faze out the worth of oil while we learn to replace it with other energy sources. War is not a good way to do this, I think diplomacy and good will gestures and acts of humanity to the 3rd world and war torn lands (often oil rich nations) would such countries have less of a need to use the black gold as means of bargaining for wealth over the thirsty western nations.
Some might ask if that was not their means of trade they would have nothing. Do you know why I think that is wrong. Because we are all on this little planet together, we are all human and I think you will find if we could, we would help each and every starving child. Like that old saying "Whats good for you is good for me"

The second front is the war that is now called "The War On Terror"
As far as I can see it is time to bring the troops home from Iraq. Everyone was celebrating the fall of Saddam, everyone wanted it, maybe even world security needed it. But why should the U.S and allied troops continue to front the security and pay for it with blood?
They have done their part of the deal, removed the dictatorship and developed infrastructures for a democracy to evolve. It's time for the Iraqi people to sacrafice a little for the country the so love.
Afghanistan is different, among the hills of the Pakistani border I think it is important for them to keep hunting extremism as is it is breeding a foul ideology among a new and isolated generation.
To end the entire war I feel focus must be maintained on the touchy area of Israel, Gaza, the Jewish and Palestinian people. While I do believe and love the Jewish state I don't think they are doing enough to accommodate the Palestinians. I think more land needs to be sacrificed, more love and help needs to be given to build and maintain a Palestine state side by side with Israel, surely the American people and their government can back the two nations side by side with careful intervention.
I think once they do co exist the extremists of today maybe still exist, but lesser and lesser will the Terrorist motive be justified to the public the any force needs to win a war.
