    Description:
This one is pretty well a remake of the first one with nearly the same title, except this one isn't focused on specific people, but more readable in a group setting like at dinner or a formal occasion or something of that sort.

Mainly just that I wanted it to be more for everyone then the 10 people who were mentioned in the first one. Some of the lines are the same, but there's a lot of new lines and concepts in there and I'd like to know if they flow well and work together.

    That'd be grand!

dotsNot who I expected you to bedots
    -------------------------------------------

Despite my calamity you showed me family
In the face of my supposed enemy
I need a remedy, a moment with you
To see what it is that you need me to do
Surround me, us, who are incomplete
Help me, through thee, help them, with me
Only you lord can see what I need
    Create a monument for us
    A memory together with us
    Give us the strength
So we know who you are
    To know who we’ve been
    To be what you are
Under the grace of your hand
I pray for a mass murder of our hatred and sin
    Relief from the devil within.
I need this moment with you, now
This dismay may play the wrong role today
But hey, you know what’s best for me
For us, the truth is obvious.
I do believe you are the answer
Can you show me the path to you
Through them, so I can’t miss
Or mess up or fuss up a storm among your chosen
I’m frozen, warm me with their hands
I pray for those who stand for me
And those who may stand against me
Forgive me Lord, for what I’ve done
Forgive us Lord, for we have sinned
Against your Son, against your light
I am not perfect, by no means so.
We are not worthy, but You let us go.
We’ve tripped and fallen, stumbled and stalled
Trying to understand what it’s like to love you
Be loved and supported at the pivotal point in our lever
Our fervor will tilt the balance of others towards you
Just grant us the strength to gather together as one,
With the one Lord, you rain down blessings,
Happiness, love, your will from above,
A covenant of knowledge and understanding
So we may bless others the way you’ve blessed us

I pray you aid me, us, in our time of need
    In our time of understanding
I pray you heal what we bleed
And we learn from your seed
I pray you help us in your own little way
I believe you will help us each in our fray
You’re not quite who I expected you to be
You called on me so in your name I pray.
    Amen.

i like the idea of god not being who you expected him to be.
thats the glorious thing about him... theres always something new to discover about him. revelation shows us an image of angels who have been circling his throne for all eternity who still fall down in awe and wonder at his amazingness so yeah... that makes me think we have HEAPS to learn about him still...

i like this. im hoping its sposed to be rap or beat poetry or something though else the inconsistancy of rhyme and rhythm prolly needs to be revised.

theres so many moments in this prayer where you seem to backtrack... as if you are sposed to praying a collective prayer but you get so absorbed in the presence of god that you forget you are representing more than yourself... its an interesting piece for sure.
