    But whether you know it or not
    I am the one getting hurt
    Life has turned away from me
    I don't even know if I love you anymore
    I say I do but I don't
    I say this not because of your past
    I say this because of me
    Something has happened to me
    I saw something and felt something
    I never want it to happen again
    I depend on you to trust me
    I hope things work out for you
    and I pray I'm not breaking your heart as I say
