Sometimes…Sometimes in life
People seem close to you
But then suddenly like a dream
Everything disappears
Sometimes…Sometimes life doesn’t seem that fun
And everyday, every moment is painful
But that’s when you smile and laugh
And think that everything’s gonna be okay
Think about the people around you…
We cry too when we see tears in your eyes
So wipe off that frown and smile
And think that everything’s gonna be okay
If you are happy, so is everyone else
The sun sneaks out from behind the clouds
And shines light upon the world
Laugh a little
Or smile, smile and wipe all the worries away
The sentiment behind this poem is one i've felt, one i've written about, and one i've lived. It was a little too simplistic for me, and I'd prefer a more poetic form instead of how much this reminds me of prose. But in all honesty I think you got your point across perfectly, and the simplicity turns to softness as you read about sun shine and wiping all the worries away.
