my mother's sister drowned

sometimes i wonder what something like that is like

i die alone dots

no one
not one soul
no air
not one breathe

water all around
the shouts are heard
yet i am alone
i am by myself
facing the decisions i made
facing my life as i lived it

it surely was not worth it
but its too late now
too late for apologies
because my time is up
and i am alone
as my lungs fill up
water all around
