Yesterday, I got extremely jealous of a person in my class who go way better grades than me. So, I just wrote this poem to make me feel better.

Make the font bigger!! Double Spacing Back to recent posts.

It stabs you, it chokes you,
    It fills you with rage,
Locks your heart and your mind,
    In a hard metal cage,

For the world is against you,
    And life isn't fair,
Any you try not to notice,
    And try not to care,

    Your knuckles turn white,
    As you're clenching your fist,
    And the urge for revenge,
    Becomes hard to resist,

Then you smile through your tears,
For you hope it is true,
    That someday all the world,
    Will be jealous of you

First of all I would like to say that this poem is really excellent. You personified the jealous in a very good way in the first stanza. In the last stanza you described the feeling of the jealous person who hopes that everyone would once be jealous of him/her. The rhyme is so good, as it add much music to the poem.
    Nice work
