Okay, a bit of background before I start writing my piece. I have taken a LONG hiatus from writing. (Years, many, many, many years). I am just starting to get back into writing again and decided to write something on my favorite color just a feel for what I can accomplish again. This is a free write piece, I am not trying to follow the formality of writing with this. This piece is just my thoughts as they appear in my head. Please comment and tell me your thoughts, without censorship. After being away from writing for so long, I need all of the critique and advice that I can get so that I can improve upon my writing. Pink is the sun rising on a warm summer day. It is the color of a baby first being born, and the color of children's drawing on the sidewalk. Pink is the color of the cold lemonade that you drink after you have been swimming on a hot summer day. Pink is the color of flowers in bloom. Pink is your heart beating strong after running a marathon. Pink is the strawberry you spread on your toast of the icing on your cupcake that your little brought you. Pink is first love, first flowers, and first life. Pink is the color of the setting sun melting behind the clouds before it returns in the morning of a bright brand new day. |
