The clock hit 12 as we boarded the 47. Hand in hand I smiled sleepily at you. This was the night we always spent together. Riding the bus towards Mcdonalds to pick up your friends. I watched as lights flickered outside the window. Merely admiring Philly. So dirty and ugly and yet with you by my side it felt like a beautiful city. We jumped off the bus laughing about nothing. Our auras twirling around each other. I layed in Mcdonalds watching as everyone closed up for the night. Best friends laughing and playing stupid games that brought them joy. This was life and it felt flawless. I watched them lock up and hooked my arms around yours pulling my coat close to hide from the cold. People looked at as strange as we made stupid faces at each other and were loud about nothing in particular. Stealing all the back seats in Dunkin Donuts we made our own heaven. We sat there for hours but never did we care. Moments like this brought life into all our faces and I know from now on when the coffee from Dunkin Donuts hits my lips, I'll always remember all our foreign moments together.
