    Description:
The title is long and probably temporary because of that reason, but the poem itself is not going to be changed unless I feel it should at a later point in time.

It's probably clear that I'm not fond of establishments and conformity. If not, read that sentence again from the word "I'm."

This may be past your level of comprehension,
but bite your tongue and swallow the condescension.
You may find it hard to believe,
but I'm not impressed by your degree.

    Formulated education interferes with learning,
Expansive libraries are full of barren books,
Go on and pretend that for more you're not yearning,
but there is more beyond detached professions and good looks.

Our brains have become as useful as a comb for the bald,
    and many don't mind because entertainment is priority;
These people we idolize are fake, by reality we're appalled,
and if you're different from the vapid, you're a minority.

Will we ever truly be enlightened?
Will this nauseating cycle ever break?
    Each of us has a chance at becoming wholly heightened;
Will you be present on the day of testing? It is yours to take.

I think you just made a statement here and it's powerful. And it works perfectly to your advantage. I don't think you should change anything from your piece although, yep the title is too long. But you can always fix that later. You seem inspired by something that you read or that has happened. Whatever it is that hit you, you got really passionate and those thoughts came out of you so easy and so strong.

I think people idealize dump people. I don't understand what's so fascinating about people who know nothing but look good just because someone knows how to put on makeup. I know people with degrees who are idiots, so when i saw you writing about how degrees dont impress you, I couldn't do nothing else but applaud you for that observation.

    I also love this comparisson:
"Our brains have become as useful as a comb for the bald"
The image of a bald man combing his scalp made me laugh not only because it's funny at the uselessness of the comb but also of the truth it speaks.

So I applaud you. It's a piece worth reading and admiring.

    Have a great day....

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate,
but that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
    gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.

And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
    our presence automatically liberates others.

    -Marianne Williamson

Been sharing that with several people lately as I keep happening upon this very theme you illustrate with your poem. It seems that the more I talk with people, the more I find we're all fed up with the way things are as a whole and crave enlightenment of some sort. A second Renaissance perhaps? Who knows what the future holds. At times it looks hopeless and grim, but I believe that artists of all types hold the key to the door that leads to the beyond. As cheesy as that sounds, it's true, but I think it's only true if we do not water down or settle for less. It's refreshing to see this spirit, so I thank you for sharing.

    Keep believing.
