Description: As abstract as this is, I think it applies to anyone working for someone else. Normally the someone else has no idea what they are doing, causing you to work under a "blind faith".
A Day At Work -------------------------------------------
Monkeys and children
Pulled by chains.
Dictators,
In the form
Of broken robots.
Rules governed
By elasticity.
Broken promises,
Rusty wheels,
Shit stained
Windows.
Lemmings running,
Children follow.
Blind faith
Allows happy
Endings.
Sheeple all
Are we.
there are some excellent insights into the stifling of creativity; being driven by beauraucracy and process, without actually understanding the point of the process (ie. the management and sheeple).
i have to say though, the process driven, entry level work is an excellent model for generating wealth. there are some personality types are comforted by monotonous work and they make money for the more entreprenurial among us. a symbiotic arrangement and a good one.
don't think you fit this mould. shed it and make your own music :)
the best part of this, for me, is 'sheeple'. something kinda cute about that; sheeple, lmao.
I found this to be more sad than funny. Maybe it's the mood I'm in, but the truth in it is rather depressing. However, I did enjoyed it. The wording is excellent.
