I am surrounded by the darkness that lives in my heart Filled with memories that tore my soul apart Just wishing for a sign of hope that I'll be happy once again Just to found someone to call a friend But there is no reason to go on So I ask myself why? Why cant I end it all and just die Then I see you standing there in this lonely place With those beautiful eyes and smile upon your face You look down on me and say "Get up." "You still have a reason stay" I move the knife from my wrist and drop it on the ground I reach out for your hand and then I here a sound I awake from my dream and turn off my alarm For some reason now I am happy and calm Then I remember seeing your face and no longer feel my pain Just knowing someone cares It keeps me sane
