    -------------------------------------------

    friend or foe?
    i'll never know
    unless i let go
    & let time
    wrestle the music
    of another beat
    out of me
    for the remaining.

    i move more swiftly
    on my own
    without the need
    of faulty feathers
    or broken promises
or the way you wrap words
    around everything
    as if you'd always care.

    there is a point
    where even broken things
    break even further
    past repair.
i pick up all the pieces
    & smile into the undertaking
    of making something new.
    the technology
    of the heart
    is understandably amazing.

    i feel around
    in the mush
    of the wet forest
    & come back,
    fisted with stems
    & infinite pebbles
    & the earth.
    they'll make a man
    out me yet.

    laughter steals
    the brevity
    of yellow weather
    from my bones
    & i'm sinking
    into the fog
    that i dug up
    from the afternoon garden
    of my body-magick.

    see me
    as i smooth
    into all things
    like a small god
    knows his way
    back home.
    always a little harder
    when you're used to loving
    freely.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
