    dotsa poets sleepless dreamsdots

    what she could rewrite,
she wrote into the mild flesh.
    the supple crease
    that spoke his name
    the moonish hours.
    solemn & treasured
by those whom have always known
    that it's true name
    is spoken with the lips,
    but no sound is made
    to give away
    its longful moaning purpose.

    he would often wonder
    if she could make music
    across the tiniest maps
    of his forgotten neck.
& if she knew that he,
    in turn,
    could mouth the waters
    of her body
    with tidal oceanic pulls
    into his own.

    could they describe
    eachother's magik
    into their body-mirrors?
    where weather meets
    the upward passing,
    he'd let go into her
    something ancient
    & ignored.
    a tribal pulse
    of inner tremors
    bound to heal
    the earthquakes
    of her fractured heart.

    but these are myths...
    or merely fables
    that tell of creatures
    made of imaginary bones.
    the empty side
    of the bed
    is a constantly
    rediscovered country.
    with each telling,
    i feel a little closer
    to the unknown ghosts
    of which i speak.

    my eyes are searching
    this disease
    while reasons
    linger on,
    & with little hope
    of being tamed...
    hands needs hands
    to fold beneath the covers
    something real,
    something uninvented
    by a poets sleepless dreams.
