Nothing to do with a physical coma. Just someone who happens to be braindead with no motivation in this world whatsoever. Still, can't help but try to make their world better. Anyone with this problem?

I have no words to soothe your world
Unless youíre searching for an illusion,
That, I would more than gladly provide
Just to give you that false sense of hope.

I am no magician with twilight powers
To heal the scratches of your sorrows
And kiss away the pain of your failures
But if thatís what you want, so be it.

Youíre on this wooden chair, waiting
For someone to sweep you off your feet
    While your ass is begging you to stand;
Such simple demands you canít meet.
A fire should trigger your point of view
Or termites should eat away the wood
Just to awake you from this passive mind.

I am no genie with mind blowing wishes
Nor am I a heavenly creature with wings,
My fingers canít click you to paradise,
But I can try my best to send you there.

I have no reason to soothe your world
For you have no raison d'Ítre yourself,
I will never stop trying to please you
Just wake up from this damned coma.

Not I. I only give assistance once then bounce out of the picture while giving the place I can be found if remorse enduces the person to seek my presence again. While reading this I thought about Augustine's mother. He would not listen to her words of advice. She prayed for him for twenty years, then one day he awoke from his comaed mental thinking. He became a Saint.

that was pretty sweet. Nice, very well done. its a very harsh way of telling some one to get over it and relize that this world is cold and no one can make it happy for them.
Thank you for posting it for us

heh, yes i believe everyone at one point or another suffers this ailment during their lifetime.

some of us ii believe are preordained by God or some unworldly force to attempt to save people from their own deficiencies in the sense that they have no worldly compulsion to save themselves.

but you cannot change anyone's mind, it is solely up to them. if a man's mind is able to change that shows that at least he still has one (in my opinion anyways).

will comes from the notion of having a general want or a desire to survive, and if you have no desire for survival which is instinctive to all species, then by that standard his mindset is not of this world, or something beyond your realm of influence, and therefore some other worldly force would have to be the catalyst for him to gain any desire for change sadly by that definition.

enough of me ranting, as for the piece itself, i enjoyed the read. the language was mid-light, easy on the eyes, i enjoyed the rhyme, and youre frustration with he current situation heh heh.

i am going to fav this one, and hopefully i get to read some more poetry from ya.
