i began to think of where I find happiness, where I found beauty. This goes deeper than just stars and thoughts.

Sitting here I begin to wonder about "The Beauty". I'm sure that you could define "The Beauty" in many ways. But this is the way I see it:

I see the beauty in the stars that lay above my head at night. They shoot across the sky, they lie there waiting for me to wish, and, even more so, they dive deep into my thoughts making me think about emotions and feelings that I didn't know I was capable of. I see the beauty in the darkness that most fear. I hear the whisper of the trees in the distance as I look upon the sky for answers. I ask for "The Beauty" that I know will overwhelm me in the darkness. "The Beauty", for me at least, is found in the most unexpected places; the dark night sky(within the overlying stars) and even more likely the dark corners of my mind(where my words are scattered throughout).

I find my "Beauty" in the light that shines through the darkness, where do you find yours?

These are very true observations on beauty.
Unfortunately for me you seem to only/mainly talk about darkness, both inside or out
I'd like to hear about the other places you see beauty.
    "I wanna here more" haha

If you would like another's opinion (Or not 'cause you're getting it anyway)...

    I see beauty in innocence.
In the glisten of a child's eye and the soft breath of a sleeping love.
I see beauty in the small, hiding away from larger figures
Hoping that it will not be noticed how fragile they are.
I find beauty between the words on a page where a soul has poured out of a pen and bared itself shamelessly for those who care enough to look.
The darkness and it's silence hold their beauty for me too.
Though not the starlight that shines through.
More the shadows that weave in and out of crevices as if trying to live despite the harshness of the stars light.

Heh, that's what I think anyway.

Thank you for this work, it forced me to think of these things and has left me with a small smile trying to force its way out of me.

I find beauty in the darkness, for it in those darkest places of sadness and rage, depravity and longing we tend to shine our brightest, as if to light our path to find our way back form them.

I find beauty in struggle, for it is in our daily battles that truth is most often reviled.

I find beauty in nature. I look at the trees, I watch the animals, I hear the water and I have trouble taking it all in. The beauty in nature is proof to me there must have been an artist; I like to think of that artist as GOD.

The moon. She smiles as she illuminates all that surrounds me. Everything bathing in her glory seems to glow. And in the dark recesses of my mind, she shines. A beacon of hope. That is where I find my beauty, basking in her rays trying to soak them up. Hoping beyond all hope that she stays, so that I never forget. Everytime I see her, I smile to the point of tears. Her beauty cutting to the core.

I thank you for reminding me of this deep-seated passion. I'm gonna fav this so that on those cold, moonless nights, I will have something to help me never forget.
