Description:

mmmmmm.....just musing...

Underneath

Peel back the layers of me
I do not wish to hide
Each strip of hesitation
Cast away
Revealing pieces never seen before
Emotions that are new
Greet the raw reaction
Invite the giving in
I do not want to rehearse for you
I just want to feel your sin
I am wrapped
Tightly
I wish to find release
Tear me open from the inside
Let me do as I please
For I wish to
Reassemble
As a creature touched
But different
The knowing of you
Has changed me
Metamorphasized me
Into who I am
I wish to
Not be
Stagnant
An ever-churning wave
Becoming myself
Again and again
Not knowing
Just who I am
Underneath

I like those words. A true loving, passionate relationship has the abilty to wrap around a person's conscienceness and make them more of who they already are. It can bring out the best and the worst.

Being stagnant ain't no good at all. I love "An ever-churning wave, becoming myself again and again." That's so good! For me, that made the whole piece come together. Good write.
