    dotsraining on my own paradedots
    -------------------------------------------


    the river knows
    your inner eye
    where the breath is kept
    & the ever green
    placation
    of your dreams
    unfolds
    into distant
    wakings
    & your own.

    tell the air
    your stories
    as to better
    greet the day.
    when you're ready,
    the water
    of your body
    will open
    all of those longheld
    gnostic puzzles
    from your blood.

    with all of your
    new moons,
    i saw you peeling
    into the carpet
    of the woods
    with your fingers.
    you took a bite
    of each discarded flower
    that i dropped
    in passing.

    what's amazing
    is the clouds
    & how they seem to move
    in no other direction
    but my eyes.
    i pluck each glob
    of white
    from the sky
    & picnic into the air
    with all the others.

    when i become
    the weather,
    often it seems
    that i'm only
    a storm away
    from raining
    on my own parade.

    we need rituals
    that we can live by
    in the early mornings
    of our lives.
    i'll trade the water
    of my body
    for yours
    for the chance
    to know them.

      simply amazing the way you put this one together, it links perfectly into a picture, I love the fifth stanza regarding raining on your own parade.....great!
