the target audience is huge, so the profit margin's wide
cuz we're all just looking for a bargin, right?
i feed into that shit, always rock fresh kicks
its not my role in the concensus
its just that my toe's think they're shellfish
its not a sin to binge, but under what god are you just?
    economy, pride, lush, or lust?
is it consume or bust, or become huge and rupture
asked for tax cuts cuz you couldn't handle punctures
the choice has always been yours,
    you choke out a comment
when you know you're just a piece of lettuce in our economy's vomit
trying to jump out, but the plummet came too suddenly
so its guess its time to let the one with the campaign buttons speak
    one boat, two boulders
so which one is gonna row this kayak further southward. who knows?
but I'll be a monkeys uncle and a son of bitch
if they didn't take a mile when i only gave an inch
and give me a pinch when i didn't wanna wake up
how much more mind space can this rat race take up?
fixing the problem, before the breakout
its been a minute since lady liberty and uncle sam made out
without a bail out, bonnie and Clyde style
when only the knowledgeable are at fault to those thoroughly in denial
i'll be weeping in the corner, heading nowhere with great pride
because i wanna witness Armageddon when it comes stateside

hey kid. it's nice to be back on here reading your stuff.

this was really good. a lot of points brought up to think about. as always, your flow and rhymes are great.

it's refreshing that you included yourself in the culture that you're criticizing, i
"I feed into that [censored]." many won't admit that they are "part of the problem" as much as anyone else.

there was a definite shift half way through, between "trying to jump out, but the plummet came too suddenly" and "so its guess its time to let the one with the campaign buttons speak." did you mean "so I guess it's time" not "so its guess its time"? was the shift on purpose, or did it just happen that way?

I really like the "one boat, two boulders" analogy.

    talk to you later.
