PEACE

Blankets of satin , white heat ,glass sweats on a bed side table. There is no brilliant sunset or calm before the storm. It waits .quietly watching. I some times can elude it as I have tonight. But I know it is patient. And soon I will gently lay my weary head in its boney hands.

LayD, This one is a bit short but to the point. The blankets of satin, white heat made me think there was going to be a passion play on words. Where the glass sweats on a bedside table part reminded me of my drinking days I could picture that glass perfectly. The rest of it made me think of a saying a mentor of mine said to me once.... He said " John you know that feeling of impending doom?..... Thats Impending doom." lol
