Writing words I don't understand With a pen wielded in my hand Fighting the demon in my head But lock behind my walls instead Voices echo with screaming rage With piercing lines I fill the page Wiping away with an eraser Mistakes I made on this paper Can you feel me? This is who I am Whispers across the sand Away into the wind This is who I am This is who I am I'm lying on the ground Inside this broken soul Wanting and trying to drown Self indulged by my dreaming Trying to never, ever fall down Reach inside me And feel this heart Beat ever faster, ever faster This is who I am This is who I am Please drag your hand across my skin Feel the scars hidden deep inside Open wounds that will never close This mask I ware as a disguise All the truths behind all the lies And the tears held behind these eyes A story written in my veins Of crippled tong and lashing pains Whispers across the sand Floating away forever Into the wind This is who I am This is who I am
