I strolled through the park with God today, he's a faster walker than I.

Like a candle in the darkness
    I walk to you
    Hoping you lead me
to the person you want me to be
    But the journey is long
And too hard for me to travel
    I linger behind you
    Till I stop walking entirely
And you wander off without me.

The wording of it warrants it a kind of reverence and the shortness gives you just enough time to appreciate it and connote to your own religious ponderings. Thank you.

That is gorgeous. When I saw God in the title, I admit I was a little worried that I wouldn't appreciate this the way I should, but I was wrong. Unlike most religious things, I actually enjoyed the subject. It takes a lot of talent to open a closed-minded individual, and that's exactly what you have done here. I love it. The wording is perfect and artistic. I admire you.
So I guess, as usual, I can give nothing but compliments.
    You're brilliant.
