    -------------------------------------------

    He watches me sleep
    His hand touches my cheek
    His warmth fills me
    But I am empty inside.

    Pitifully, painful, paradox
    Absurd as may seem
    I am alone
    Although surrounded by many.

    A life worth living
    Is not one I see
    I am ashamed of this
    Irrational thinking.

He gives me all he has
    Although asking nothing in return
    Except one thing
The only thing I cannot give him.

    Me
    My love
    My devotion
    My all...

FIRST OF ALL WELCOME BACK, I LIKE THIS WRITING. I LOVE HONESTY THROUGH POETRY, IT DOES SOMETHING TO THE SOUL TO HEAR A "SHARED" TRUTH. BROKEN HEARTS CAN NOT LOVE, THEY CAN ONLY REPLACE, WHICH IS WHY WE OFTEN FEEL SEPARATE OR DISCONNECTED FROM THE EMOTIONS WE THINK WE SHOULD BEING FEELING. **sorry if I am confusing you**

    ANYWHO, GREAT WRITE

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
