Deceit.


i've subscribed to a life of lies.
of false eyes and pretend.
i'm trying my hardest.
and things are falling faster.
i thought tying the knot tighter
would make us closer.
so invincible. unbreakable-

but the milk spills at dinner.
and i have nothing left to say.
this world we've built around us
is crumbling and fading to dust
and you continue to drift away.

there's a lipstick smudge on ur shirt.
the smell of taintedness on you skin.
i thought things where different.
but this is where reality begins.
