Seeds splitting
Taking root
Cells crafting stems
Leaves unfurling
Bonnets blooming
Colours unwrapping
Their precious gifts.
Pollen wafting
And alighting.
Rain in the drop
Snowflakes on noses
Air mingling with breath
Sunshine beating
Wind resting.
Hair curling
Pupils dilating
Eyes talking their
Intimate secrets.
A smile beaming.
A solitary tear,

Death’s embrace.
The moment before
a baby's first breath,
the mother holding hers,
anxiously waiting.
Both darkness and light.
Silent miracles everywhere.
If I were blind
And could not see such things
Still they would prevail,
Regardless.
Velvety nothingness.
Love.
Grace.
GOD.
