This is a re-post, probably because I like this poem so much. I brought it forward for the benefit of some of my more recent viewers, although I hope my regular friends here enjoy reading it again also! Happy Holidays all!

"I Wish You Love"

I take up pen
from far away,
and hope my letter
will brighten your day.

It's again that wondrous
time of year,
when bright lights glow
and holidays are here!

And, of course I wish you
lots of things;
peace and joy,
and diamond rings!

I wish you carrolers
at your door,
and a charming tree
to adorn your floor!

I wish for presents
neath your tree,
and Christmas Lights
for all to see!

I wish you God's peace
from above,
and, most of all
I wish you love!

Ron, thank you for the sweet poem.
My favorite holiday is Christmas.
Families being together, singing carols, trimming the tree, baking lots of goodies, watching Christmas movies and seeing the excitement on the faces of the children opening their presents!
I wish we could feel that way all year.

Again, another re-read but I enjoy the sentiment we should practice year round in giving of Love, Peace, Joy, Abundance, Beauty & Prosperous Healthy Smiles to Share ;-) ;-) ;-)

Love is truly the greatest gift of all, and your charming prose has shown that very well.
